Become a peer reviewer for GENETICS.
Get real-world peer review training and experience by participating in the GENETICS Peer Review Training Program. You will receive online training and advice from GENETICS editors as you become a reviewer for manuscripts submitted to the journal.
Make a difference and advance your career.
Develop your skills, join a thriving network, and demonstrate your abilities by participating in the GSA’s Early Career Leadership and Professional Development Program. Work in teams with mentors to propose, develop, and implement initiatives that address unmet needs for the early career scientist community.
Engage with the public.
Learn more about engaging in two-way conversations with the public on the benefits and social and ethical implications of genetics. GSA’s partnership with the Personal Genome Education Project (pgEd) includes a series of online workshops.
Organize a local science or career event.
Get leadership experience and serve your fellow early career scientists by organizing a GSA Career Development Symposium. GSA offers funding for student and postdoc members to organize local symposia that provide career and professional development opportunities for early career scientists.
